Data infrastructure that serves people and planet
What we do
Ferma Data is committed to building a cleaner digital future. We identify and secure sites with excellent power and fiber access while protecting the environment. We lead permitting and design with the goal of zero-carbon facilities. Our developments are planned to benefit local communities and support regional growth. Once ready, we offer these sites for sale or lease to help our partners grow responsibly.

Core development principles
Avoid
Select the least damaging option when siting an infrastructure resource. This involves considering multiple alternatives and project configurations with the goal of avoiding environmental impacts.
Minimize
For impacts that cannot be avoided, we will implement measures to minimize the environmental impact such as erosion control barriers, buffers, or setbacks from sensitive resources.
Mitigate
For impacts that cannot be avoided, we will actively seek opportunities to engage in agreements to protect an equivalent resource, implement compatibility measures or fund restoration or preservation work.
